The Era of Dreams

I knew exactly what I needed to do to become the best. I had the time, the resilience, and the fire.

I poured everything into my career. I worked hard! I learned from the masters and chased success. I realized my potential and found my voice.

I didn't just learn; I taught. I loved the craft, and I kept building.

The Stagnation

“Until I stopped.”

Competence drifted into monotony. I found myself solving the same problems, just with different library versions. The thrill of creation became the routine of assembly. I was a master builder in a city that had stopped growing. I knew how to build, but I was forgetting why. Novelty stopped feeling exciting; it started to feel like fear. I went from wanting my success to be seen, to praying my failures would stay hidden.

I realized I had built my entire life around sustaining this comfort. Change was a war I wasn't sure I could win.

Embracing the Chaos

Then came AI. Infinite potential. Probabilistic outcomes. Systems that don't just follow orders—they reason, adapt, and surprise. The rules changed!

I'm not running from this 'enemy'(!); I'm keeping it close. I'm starting this adventure again, just like when I wrote my first line of code. I'm trying to unlearn the discipline, willpower, and expectation of perfect results I once clung to. I am rewriting my habits.

You can follow that journey right here.
